C3 Shared Services (PTY) Ltd believes very strongly in empowering it's previously disadvantaged employees and supporting economic change in South Africa, and for this reason, has implemented a very significant Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) initiative in the company.

In pursuit of Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, the shareholders and the Board of Directors of the company have committed themselves to support the government's stated objectives to facilitate the empowerment of black people by:

  1. Promoting economic transformation in order to enable meaningful participation of black people in the economy;
  2. Achieving a substantial change in the racial composition of ownership and management structures, and in the skilled occupations of the company;
  3. Increasing the extent to which black women own and manage the company and its business, and increasing their access to economic activities, infrastructure and skills training;
  4. Promoting investment programs that lead to broad-based and meaningful participation in the economy by black people in order to achieve sustainable development and general prosperity.

In view of the above, it is evident that the stakeholders of the company have recognised the fact that Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment has become imperative for sustainable growth of the company and the company is now, officially, 30% black owned.
